Call (516) 626-1971 and leave your name and best contact number with the receptionist. All of our intake appointments are scheduled before 3:00 pm, but once the client attends and is assigned a therapist, treatment appointments are available during and after school hours.
We have psychologists on staff that do psychological, neuropsychological, educational and personality evaluations. In order to determine the necessity of an appropriate evaluation, you must schedule an intake appointment.
We will only schedule an intake for one child to start. Once that child attends their intake and is assigned to a clinician, the family can discuss their needs with the therapist. We do this to make sure each child receives a full evaluation and the family is able to receive the most efficient services.
The Guidance Center accepts multiple health insurance plans. For further information, please inquire when making an intake appointment.
We check all insurance eligibility prior to intake appointments. If there is a problem, the billing department will contact you. Please contact your insurance company for information about your outpatient mental health coverage in regards to copayments and number of visits.
Out of pocket cost of service is based on income and determined on a case by case basis. Proof of income is required.
