Hope or Despair Suburbia's Children Look Into the Future is the sixth action research project developed by North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center since 1984. A committee of parents and professionals from several children and youth serving agencies across Long Island surveyed almost 1200 high school students from seven area high schools.
