Early Childhood:

The Early Years Institute is a catalyst for new ideas, partnerships and resources that ensures all children have what they need to succeed. A laboratory for community creativity, the Institute gives all of the resources on Long Island an opportunity to collaborate on behalf of young children and their families.

Offers child care counseling and referrals to families, professional development and technical assistance to active and potential providers, and offers services to employers interested in the child care needs of employee's families. Also serves as an informational resource and public voice for child care issues facing Nassau County's diverse communities.

A project of North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, Nassau County Perinatal Services Network and the Postpartum Resource Center of New York, with funding by the Hagedorn Foundation

Created to raise awareness of and promote maternal well being; to create a network of centers and programs by and for mothers; to be a resource for its individual and center members; to advocate for public policies that value the work of care giving.

Self-help organization established to provide emotional support, educational information and healthcare and support group referrals to mothers suffering from prenatal and postpartum depression (PPD).

National nonprofit organization that informs, trains and supports professionals, policymakers and parents in their efforts to improve the lives of infants and toddlers.
