Common Sense Parenting

A six-week series for parents on raising responsible kids and building happy families. Parent with a warm heart and a cool head, learn skills and strategies that will work for you and make a positive difference in your family.

The complexity of parenting sometimes gets easier if we look at both ourselves and our children to see what buttons are being pushed, and figure out why we are fighting about the same thing over and over again. Good parenting skills are often developed over time, but usually require paying attention to our assumptions about family life, our beliefs about child rearing, and our expectations of ourselves.
